About Vento

Vento, wholly funded by Exor, is now investing its second €75 Mn fund dedicated to backing Italian founders globally.
Since 2022, we’ve invested in over 150 early-stage startups worldwide, 60 in 2025 only, with the goal of scaling to 100 investments annually. Our €150,000 pre-seed and seed investment comes with simple terms, a streamlined decision-making process, and access to a unique network.

Your Role as a VC Intern

Deals Scouting and Screening

• Scout the best Italian founders researching platforms like LinkedIn and Lighthouse, and engaging in ecosystem initiatives

• Keep an eye on our deal flow using Attio, assess inbound applications, and participate in initial calls with founders
  

Internal Tools and Automation

• Support the Vento team in building and maintaining internal tools to streamline deal flow, portfolio management, and operational processes
• Leverage platforms like Zapier, n8n, and Notion to optimize internal operations

Founders Engagement

• Support the team in engaging the founders' community by contributing to the organisation of meetups, masterclasses, or similar

Startup Enthusiasm: Demonstrate a genuine passion for startups and innovation, staying on top of cutting-edge developments in the field

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of vibe coding and AI native tools

Analytical Problem-Solver: Tendency in critically evaluating the problem ahead, with a talent for building solutions to solve it
