Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679
Pursuant to and for the purposes of the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 and subsequent amendments relating to the protection of personal data, we inform you of how we process, store, and protect the data you provide when applying for the ZeroUno initiative on the website
https://www.vento.ventures/ (hereinafter the "Program").
ZeroUno is an annual initiative aimed at the most promising Italian entrepreneurial talent, co-organized by 2100 Ventures, Vento, Italian Founders Fund, Unruly Capital, and Tech Europe Foundation (hereinafter collectively the "Co-organizers"). The application process is managed through the Teamtailor platform.
1. Data Controllers
The Data Controllers for the personal data collected within the Program are the Co-organizers, acting as joint controllers pursuant to Article 26 of EU Regulation 2016/679:

2. Data Collected
In connection with the ZeroUno application, the following personal data are collected:
Personal and contact details (first name, last name, email address, phone number)
Professional and biographical information (background, experience, entrepreneurial project)
Any data contained in attached CVs or portfolios
Browsing data collected through the Teamtailor platform
3. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

4. Recipients of Data
Personal data may be shared with:
The ZeroUno Co-organizers (2100 Ventures, Vento, Italian Founders Fund, Unruly Capital, Tech Europe Foundation) for selection and event organization purposes
Teamtailor (ATS platform provider), acting as Data Processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR
IT and logistics service providers strictly necessary for the management of the Program
Competent authorities, where required by law
Data will not be transferred to third parties for their own commercial purposes without your explicit consent.
5. Transfers Outside the EEA
Where data are transferred outside the European Economic Area (e.g. through cloud service providers), the Co-organizers ensure the adoption of appropriate safeguards (Art. 46 GDPR), including standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Retention Period
Personal data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes indicated:
Unsuccessful applications: maximum 12 months from the close of the selection process
Selected participants: for the duration of the Program and for the following 24 months for community management purposes
Data for marketing communications: until consent is withdrawn
7. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to Articles 15–22 GDPR, data subjects have the right to:
Access their personal data
Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
Erase their data ("right to be forgotten"), in the cases provided for by law
Restrict processing
Object to processing based on legitimate interest
Data portability, where applicable
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal

Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) at www.garanteprivacy.it.
8. Nature of Data Provision
The provision of data marked as mandatory in the application form is necessary to participate in the selection process. Failure to provide such data will make it impossible to process your application. The provision of data for marketing purposes is optional.
9. Updates to this Privacy Policy
